Lehane Environmental is delighted to be nominated for Company of the Year for 2014. The awards are being held at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Little Island, on Friday 21st November 2014. It is a fitting end to the year and a recognition of the dedication of the staff of Lehane Environmental and their commitment to providing a professional service to their Commercial and Industrial Clients.
It has been quite a busy year for us having commenced construction of our new facility at Wallingstown, Little Island. The construction is being carried out by MMD Construction and the completion date is for Q1 2015.
We also successfully had our quality system accredited to ISO 9001. Whilst we always had our Environmental and Health & Safety System certified to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 respectively, we did not feel the need to have the quality element individually certified, particularly as in a company such as ours, quality is embedded in our environmental and health and safety systems. The certification however provides our Clients’ complete assurance of the durability of our EHSQ Management System.
The standards for our fleet management and transport system was also recognised this year when we received an award from the Freight Transport Association. The scheme is voluntary but is recognised by the Road Safety Authority and demonstrates our commitment to road safety initiatives.
Heres hoping we can add to our awards for 2014 in receving Company of the Year.
